The PR11ME Event in Chiang Mai isn’t just a tournament, it’s a full-on rugby immersion. Hosted in the heart of northern Thailand, this is the birthplace of the PR11ME format: a fast, tactical, 11-a-side version of rugby that strips out the dead time and puts skill, speed, and decision-making front and center.
But what truly sets this event apart is the structure. Players don’t arrive with pre-formed teams. Instead, they’re randomly assigned to one of six regional squads named after iconic areas of Chiang Mai. For many, it’s the first time playing alongside strangers from different backgrounds, styles, and countries and that’s the point. PR11ME is about adaptability, chemistry, and rising to the challenge.
Off the field, the experience goes beyond rugby. From street food nights and temple visits to team socials, charity and cultural immersion, players get a taste of what northern Thailand has to offer and build bonds that last long after the final whistle.
It’s raw. It’s real. It’s rugby like you’ve never experienced it.
